Do you ever wish you could feel more alert in the morning and have more energy during the day?
I’m with you.
Here are my top 3 tips that I have been following for over three years that allow my body to wake up more naturally, and provide me with more energy later in the day:
1️⃣ 🚶Movement. Engage in some form of exercise or physical activity in the mornings. This could be as simple as going for a 20-30 minute walk.
2️⃣☀️ Sunshine. Looking at sunlight in the mornings supports the circadian rhythm and acts as an internal alarm clock to help you wake up more naturally, rather than looking at the light on your phone.
3️⃣ ☕️ Delay caffeine. Delaying caffeine intake by ideally 90 minutes helps your cortisol levels rise naturally and prevents caffeine from suppressing your appetite so that you can fuel your body in the morning.
✓ Most of my clients who eat a nutritious breakfast in the mornings feel better overall physically and mentally.
