A different kind of care

You’re used to handling difficult things. You show up for your work, your family, and the people who depend on you—even when you’re exhausted, anxious, burned out, or lying awake at 2 a.m.

If you’re an executive, entrepreneur, physician, engineer, attorney, creative professional, or someone whose work demands a lot from you, you know how draining it is to keep pushing through while feeling unlike yourself.

Our job is to understand what’s driving your symptoms, create a personalized treatment plan, and help you get back to sleeping well, thinking clearly, and feeling like yourself again.

Our approach

Expert care that fits your life.

All appointments are conducted by secure telehealth, making it easy to access expert care from home, the office, or wherever life takes you. Whether you're struggling with insomnia, anxiety, depression, burnout, or a combination of concerns, we'll recommend the care pathway that's most likely to help. That may include psychiatry, Effortless Sleep™, or both.

The THRIVE framework

We look beyond symptoms.

Sleep and mental health are influenced by many parts of your life. That’s why we take a whole-person approach—addressing the biological, psychological, behavioral, and lifestyle factors that affect how you feel.

Integrative Psychiatry

Thoughtful care. Unhurried visits. A plan that’s built around you.

You deserve more than a brief appointment and a prescription. We take the time to understand your symptoms, your medical history, your sleep, and the many factors that influence your mental health.

From there, we develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication, psychotherapy, sleep optimization, nutrition, and lifestyle strategies. Every recommendation is tailored to your goals, your values, and your life.

Insomnia & Sleep

Stop organizing your life around insomnia.

Most people arrive after months, sometimes years, piecing together advice from different sources. They’ve tried supplements, sleep hygiene, apps, podcasts, internet advice, and even multiple medications or CBT-i. What’s missing isn’t effort; it’s a plan built around how sleep actually works.

That’s where we come in. Using the principles of behavioral sleep medicine, we identify what’s keeping your insomnia going, then guide you through a clear sequence of steps tailored to your unique situation. As your sleep changes, your sleep coach adjusts the plan so you’re always working on the next right step—not starting over every night.

The goal isn’t just to help you sleep better. It’s to help you stop organizing your life around insomnia and regain confidence in your ability to sleep naturally.

Welcome to Pacific Integrative Psychiatry

Meet Dr. Nishi Bhopal, one of the few physicians who is board-certified in both Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine.

As a board-certified psychiatrist and sleep physician, I've seen how closely sleep and mental health are connected. Too often, people are treated for one while the other is overlooked. That's why I created Pacific Integrative Psychiatry—to bring together evidence-based psychiatry, behavioral sleep medicine, and a whole-person approach that helps people sleep well, feel better, and perform at their best.
