Out-of-network, made simple.

We're an out-of-network practice: you pay at the time of your visit, and for psychiatry and therapy visits we send a superbill and help you claim your out-of-network benefits. Full fees are listed below, so you know what to expect before you ever book.

Our model

Why we're out-of-network.

Insurance often dictates how long appointments can be and how frequently patients can be seen, which limits the quality of care. By taking insurance companies out of the equation, we can focus on personalized care tailored to your needs.

That freedom is what lets us build the strong doctor-patient relationship that leads to lasting results, with longer sessions and a true team approach across psychiatry, therapy, and nutrition.

It also means you’re never locked into a rushed 15-minute visit just because that’s what a plan will reimburse.

What to expect

Our fees.

Flat, transparent fees, collected at the time of your visit. Where a range is shown, your exact fee depends on the clinician you're matched with — and ongoing care is usually the lower, 30-minute follow-up fee, not the intake fee.

Adult psychiatry

Comprehensive 60-minute intakes and extended visits with your psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner — every new patient begins here, and insomnia care is billed at these same rates. Ongoing care is usually a 30-minute follow-up at $300–$350.

$425–$550

Addiction psychiatry

Specialty track with our addiction psychiatrist: $650 for 60-minute visits, with 30-minute follow-ups at $400.

$650

Therapy

Individual 60-minute sessions with our licensed therapist are $200; family sessions are $250 for 50 minutes or $375 for 90.

$200

Sleep coaching

One-on-one sessions with our sleep coaches. 60 minutes, with a 30-minute option at $125.

$200

Effortless Sleep™

The structured program — full curriculum, lifetime access — plus optional one-on-one coaching at $200 per session. Start with one; we recommend six.

$497

Every new patient begins with a 60-minute intake, and your exact fee is confirmed before you book. Superbills for out-of-network reimbursement apply to psychiatry and therapy visits — coaching sometimes qualifies, and the program itself typically does not. Specialty lab fees, if any, are always shown before you choose them.

Using your out-of-network benefits

If you have a commercial PPO plan, you may get a significant portion of your care reimbursed. Every plan is different, but out-of-network care is typically reimbursed at 60% to 80% once your annual deductible is met. A few things worth knowing: your plan calculates that percentage from its own benchmark rate (the “allowed amount”), not from our actual fee, so the dollar amount varies by plan; you pay in full until you meet your annual out-of-network deductible; and no estimate is a guarantee, so it is always worth checking your exact benefits before you start.

Fees & insurance questions.

How much do you charge?

Psychiatry visits are $425–$550 for a comprehensive 60-minute intake, depending on the clinician you're matched with; ongoing care is usually a 30-minute follow-up at $300–$350. Therapy and sleep coaching sessions are $200. Effortless Sleep™ is $497, with one-on-one coaching added at $200 per session — start with one; we recommend six. Specialty tracks, like addiction psychiatry, run higher.

Your exact fee is confirmed before you book. After psychiatry and therapy visits you receive a superbill — many PPO plans reimburse a significant portion of out-of-network care. The program and coaching are typically not reimbursable.

Do you take insurance?

We don’t bill insurance directly, so we’re considered out-of-network providers. We send every patient a superbill receipt after each visit, which you can submit to your insurance to use any out-of-network benefits, an HSA, or an FSA.

We recommend calling your insurance ahead of time to verify how much they would reimburse for out-of-network behavioral health services. Many of our patients get reimbursed 60% to 80% of the allowed amount, though this varies by plan and is never guaranteed.

Is lab testing covered by insurance?

It depends on the type of testing. Many of the blood tests we recommend are covered by insurance. Some specialty functional nutrition tests may not be, in which case you pay the lab directly.

We’ll always make you aware of any additional lab fees and give you the chance to choose. You’re never obligated to purchase specialty testing.

What is your cancellation policy?

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. If you can’t attend, we request two business days’ (48 hours’) notice before your appointment. We do charge a fee for missed appointments and late cancellations.

Have a question about fees?

We'll walk you through fees and reimbursement during your consultation, with no pressure and no commitment.
