Digital Overload Workshop Next Week

As I’m writing this, my husband is listening to a webinar, my colleague is texting me, I’ve got way too many unread emails, and I want to shut it all down and catch up on the latest season of Bridgerton.

Do you relate to this?

Digital overload is real.

We are surrounded by screens and inundated with more information every day than we can take in.

The average screen time in the U.S. is 7 hours and 4 minutes per day, and daily screen time has increased by nearly 50 minutes per day since 2013.

Excessive screen time is linked to mental health issues, sleep problems, and reduced attention spans.

So how much is too much?

Well, that might not be the right question to ask.

Not all screen time is created equal. Doomscrolling versus watching an educational video, for example, have different effects.

Personally, I know that working late on my laptop has a direct impact on my sleep quality and stress levels, as reflected on my Oura ring stats.

Start by checking in with yourself and notice how being on screens affects your mood, energy, focus, and sleep.

It’s such a common issue that my colleague, Dr. Malathi Acharya, MD, and I are offering another session of our complimentary workshop called “Navigating Digital Overload: Holistic Solutions for Stress, Anxiety, and Burnout in the Digital Age.”

If you’re struggling with digital overload, join us to learn tools and techniques that you can use to reduce burnout.

If you came last time, you’re more than welcome to join us again for a refresher.
