Meet with the integrative psychiatrist to explore your health, wellness, and life goals. Before the first appointment, you’ll complete an extensive online intake packet that includes a health assessment, rating scales, and other lifestyle factors. We encourage you to upload any previous lab tests and medical records into the confidential patient portal.
In the first session, we’ll discuss your medical history and treatment goals, and formulate a treatment plan that may include laboratory testing, nutrition, mind-body practices, medications, vitamins and supplements, exercise, Ayurveda, and other modalities.
During follow-up visits, we’ll take a deeper dive into treatment recommendations, make adjustments to the plan, and track your progress.
During these consultations, you’ll meet with the functional nutritionist to evaluate your nutritional needs, assess for food sensitivities, and explore gut health issues like IBS, SIBO, dysbiosis, acid reflux, and indigestion.
We’ll review any prior nutritional, functional medicine, or gut testing, and formulate a personalized treatment plan that may include additional laboratory testing, dietary modifications, and supplements.
If you’re already taking psychiatric medications, we’ll help you find the most appropriate dosing and regimen. If you aren’t sure if medications are right for you, we’ll help you explore the options and figure out the best plan for your needs. We also specialize in helping people taper off medications safely, when appropriate.
We also offer precision pharmacogenomic testing to help you find the safest and most effective treatment for your situation. Many medications require optimal gut health and nutrition to work properly, so nutritional consultations are also available as a complement to medication management.
Our psychiatrists are trained in various psychotherapy modalities including supportive, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based psychotherapy. We also offer a coaching-based approach to help you build healthy habits, improve communication skills, set healthy boundaries, and improve your performance at work.
Second Opinion Consultation
Obtain a second opinion on your diagnosis and treatment plan. We’ll explore possible root causes for mental health issues and discuss holistic and integrative approaches to optimize your mental health. We’ll also provide insights and guidance on your current treatment plan while you continue working with your prescribing psychiatrist or other practitioner(s).
Clients of this service are expected to maintain their primary prescription and health management through a psychiatric provider and/or a primary care clinician, as we do not serve as a primary medical provider or provide prescriptions through this consultation service.
Holistic Sleep Evaluation
Get a comprehensive evaluation of your sleep quality, including review of prior sleep studies, assessment of root causes of sleep issues like circadian rhythm misalignments, nervous system dysregulation, and nutritional imbalances, and explore the role of diet and supplements to optimize sleep. If you use a wearable device like a FitBit or Oura ring, we can help you track and interpret the results.
Please note that we are not a sleep laboratory and do not offer sleep apnea testing at this time. If you’re working with a sleep specialist, we can provide you with guidance on your current treatment plan and suggest integrative and holistic interventions that your current specialist may not be trained in.
Clinical Consultation for Physicians & Therapists
Available to therapists, psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and sleep specialists.
Obtain expert consultation on your patient’s psychiatric or sleep treatment plan, learn about integrative and holistic treatment options for your patients, learn new strategies to safely wean medications, and discuss what specific lab testing or nutritional interventions may be appropriate for your patients.
