About

When you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, sleep issues, stress, burnout, or simply feeling unlike yourself, it can be hard to know where to turn — especially if you’ve already tried different approaches only to feel unheard, or that your concerns weren’t fully understood. Imagine sitting down with a practitioner who takes the time to listen to your story, not just your symptoms — where instead of feeling rushed, you feel heard, understood, and supported.

Together, we’ll explore what may be contributing to how you’re feeling — looking not only at your mental health but at the bigger picture of your overall well-being, including inflammation, sleep, nutrition, mindset, habits, nervous system, and hormones. Our work is collaborative and personalized, because there’s no one-size-fits-all treatment plan and no one-size-fits-all person. Treatment may include psychiatric medication when appropriate, but it can also incorporate lifestyle changes, behavioral strategies, sleep optimization, nutrition, and functional-medicine principles that support both mind and body. The goal isn’t just symptom relief — it’s building a foundation for long-term wellness.

I believe effective mental health care begins with understanding the whole person. Before specializing in psychiatry, I spent many years as an ICU nurse, and those experiences shaped my understanding of how closely connected physical and mental health truly are. Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of looking beyond symptoms to the underlying factors contributing to a person’s struggles — a perspective that continues to guide my work today. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel comfortable, supported, and empowered as we work toward better health together.
